Beautiful but a bit pricey
I was browsing Merlette's site last week, especially their Eyelet Dresses, and ended up ordering the Rodas Dress during a small promo. The dress itself is gorgeous, really well-made and the fabric feels luxurious. My main gripe is the price; even with the promo code applied at checkout, it felt a little steep for what it is, especially since the codes typically only work on full-price items. Also, I was curious about international shipping, and that information wasn't immediately obvious. It arrived within the estimated window, which was good.
Cute style, but sizing is tricky
I really love the look of the Essaouira Dress and the quality is beautiful. However, I found the sizing to be a bit inconsistent, making it hard to figure out what would work for the Soliman dress without trying it on. I wish they offered free returns or exchanges for sizing issues, especially with the price point.

i was so excited to finally get my hands on the Miller Dress! it's absolutely gorgeous and the fabric feels amazing. i was a little bummed to see that it's made in china, just because i was hoping for something from a different region, but the quality is still really good. the fit is perfect and i've already gotten so many compliments. just a heads up, it's dry clean only which is a bit of a pain for an everyday dress, but for special occasions, it's totally worth it. definitely keeping an eye out for more deals on Merlette!
Beautiful but a little high maintenance!
Anyone else get a smocked Merlette dress? I'm loving my Essa Smocked Tiered Mini Dress, it's so comfortable and pretty. My only minor complaint is that caring for the smocking seems like it'll be a bit of a project, but it's worth it for how lovely it is. Delivery was fast too!

I really like my new Merlette smocked dress. The quality is great and it's super comfortable. However, it took quite a while to arrive, which was a bit frustrating.
soliman dress is a winner
i usually go for Ulla Johnson dresses, but the soliman dress from merlette caught my eye. i was a bit worried about the fit after reading some reviews online, but it's perfect – roomy without being shapeless. the cotton poplin is really soft, and i saved about 20% by using a promo code at checkout. shipping was quick too, came in 3 days.
